I posted a couple of weeks ago about my Mom's stage 4 lung cancer
diagnosis. She's been in terrible pain for about 3 months now. 2 weeks
ago she was told the diagnosis after a week's worth of testing. An

I posted awhile ago that DH had a Studor Pouch made from how intestine
after losing his bladder to Cancer.  He is recovering and possibly the
tubes will come out on Friday.  Dr. feels no Chemo is necessary as
lymph nodes show no more Cancer.  The next hurdle is whether the pouch

Mandy has an uncle diagnosed Nasopharyngeal carcinoma stage IV, 45 yr
old, was given treatment only chemo. Mandy question is what other
options? Gamma knife? brachytherapy? radiation?surgery? Palliative

I think I heard a lot on the progress in liver cancer related basic research
in the past couple of years, but couldn't recall/enumerate when the
information is needed now.  Can anyone (steph, etc.) sumerize the recent
advances in liver cancer treatment? I wish then I would have a ...

just back from the onc.  latest C/T shows multiple new hepatic lip lesions
consistent with hepatic metastases.  the liver is more heavily involved.
they intend to start a new round of chemo next week, but not particularly
hopeful.
