My mother was diagnosed recently with Collecting Duct Carcinoma (CDC) or Bellini's Duct Carcinoma. Although the kidney was removed the cancer remains in surrounding lymps/tissues. What can we do to slow down the growth of this cancer? Please help.

I spoke with the oncologist's nurse today. They have increased my sister's water pill medications. SHe's lost weight (Significantly as I knew) but it shows that she gained weight because of the fluids. They suggested that she be on a sodium free diet.

I'm 50 and just diagnosed with colon liver cancer. I'm guessing I'll be dead in maybe a year or so. In the past 6 months I dieted down from 250 pounds down to 200 pounds. When I realized I had health problems, I quit my diet, and got my cancer diagnosis.
