Hello Folks, my father (Primary Liver Cancer with mets to lungs and
abdomin) has been taking Hydromorphone for pain).  He has a slow
release version that he takes every 12 hours (3mg) and another 1 (1mg)
has been perscribed to take if he has pain which takes effect

He had Secondary Seminoma stage IIII, chest and abdomen and received

I had a carciniod tumor remove from my lower intestine, they found my liver
is  full of cancer, I'm getting slow release injection once a month to slow
syndrome down. I've had this for about 8 years in the last 2 months is when
they found it. They don't know how long I can live just ...

firstly a huge thanks to J for pointing me in the direction of ACOR, it's
been very useful.
My dad has now got an appointment on the 6th of Nov for a CT scan, we'll
know more after that.

My friend, age 26, has just been diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma in
several bones, possibly in the lung as well  My question is simply
this:  should she just accept the treatment plan set out by her
doctors at her local hospital (Canada) or should she seek another

I posted a few months back.
My mum has stage 2 lung cancer the tumour was 5cm
She had chemo and the tumour had gone down to 2cm,tho a CT scan showed
a spot on her left lung,but the doctors were not really worried about

article about mice with cancer becoming cancer free in 10 days after
the treatment. Hopefully humans are like mice and can be treated.  :)

adverse effects i.e., my husband wants to take it but is worried about any

A really dear friend has just been through a Vaginal Cancer diagnosis and
had both her Lympnodes removed two weeks ago. I have not wanted to pry and

A friend of mine recently had surgery for endometrial cancer. The
surgeon could not remove all of the cancer and cells have been seen in
her lymph nodes. Not good.
She will be going through both radiation and chemotherapy. Radiation
