I had surgery for bladder cancer in summer 2003 and it was removed and the
doctor told me it was a papillary type and was likely to recur, but unlikely
to become fatal.  It came back in February and again this September.  Each
time, the doctor removed it.  I'm waiting for the latest ...

Because I am on Cobra through my wife (figgertoes) rules say that I have to
switch to Medicare.  I'm currently on Kaiser coverage.  She started a new
job this week with piss poor medical coverage, so I was going to keep the
cobra as long as possible.

Doug's Diffuse Large B Cell (DLBCL) tumour was pronounced negative today!
According to the oncologist it is no longer active, "gone from positive to
negative". Does this mean that the CD20 + has become CD20-? Whatever, this

My 72 yr old mother in law has been diagnosed with a 4cm liver cancer and a
cancer "spot" on her lung.  She is not too  forthcoming in details and I
don't wish to ask her.  Currently she is undergoing a battery of tests at a
local cancer center here in Canada.

there was a thread here a few days back about nausea, and using ginger to
combat it.  I went digging for the stuff that we use.
figgertoes favorite solution is organic ginger snaps that come in .4g sized
pills. They are a combination of ginger root, molasses, and cane juice.
