Merle and I cannot afford to stay in our apartment. We can rent or buy a house for much less, but don't have any money for either type of down payment. A number of people have told us that they would be glad to donate to that cause IF the donations would be tax-deductible.

Had Brain MRI and Abdomin CT scans Monday and saw Onc. today. No signs of cancer (SCLC) in either scan. Blood work was normal too. I'm almost recovered from the chemo and radiation (10 months since last chemo, 6 mo since radiation for brain mets.)

They started him on Velcade yesterday. They have to give it through IV so they have to stick him. He will go there and get it once a week for the next couple of weeks. Then he'll see what this Dr. says. It has most of the same side effects as the Thalidomide. This is a chemo. ...

My wife is an inpatient in a local Hospice Center. Ovarian Cancer has won after 6+ years. The nurses I've talked to have said that if they can get her to stop vomiting for two days on compazine, then maybe she could come back to the hospital bed that is set up in our living room

I went to the Dr. with complaints of abdominal pain. They did every blood test in the book and found nothing. I even went to the emergency room once panicing thinging that they were missing somthing, they did an xray and saw a lot of fecal matter building up on one
