    Dad found out today his Dr. wants to start him on Thalidomide.  They are
working on ordering it for him.  He will start as soon as they get it.  His Dr.
said all it would do was slow down the cancer.  Not put him in remission.  The
Dr./doctors you talked to might have said ...

Mycoses Fungoides. We are waiting for an appointment with a specialist
and know very little of the disease.

Things are not quite so bleek. My Dad saw the oncologist today. I was really
worried that she would see a 96 year old and automatically kind of say there
is no hope. (He has Merkel Cell Carcinoma, a very potent aggressive cancer).

Denver there is the University Hospital that is a large research facility
for cancer.  Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa Florida is another hospital
