Why does this newsgroup have this huge list of rules, do's and don'ts,
etc associated with it?  What exactly is the purpose of it all?  I
can't seem to shake those questions.  I got an email from someone that
made me think I should take the time to post.

    Dad does have a blood clot in his right shoulder.  That's the arm the clots

    They're checking Dad for a possible blood clot.  His also on a water pill for
fluid build up.  We don't know if the possible blood clot is due to the port
messing up.  They can't get anything out of it again or if the possible blood
clot and fluid build up is due to the Thalidomide ...

Just found out my father had a heart attack and required quadruple
bypass this past weekend. He also was diagnosed with stomach cancer
and will have surgery this Thursday. Don't know what stage, or if a

My wife recently had surgery for colon cancer. We're very fortunate in that
we appear to have caught it early enough.  Her surgeon and her oncologist
have both recommended that we see a genetic counselor because my wife has a

near London, that cater for a paraplegic wheelchair user? Possibly on
his own so a very near car park would be an advantage.

I have not been visiting the group at all after my RAI.
I was given 150mci and I isolated myself for about 10 days. Nausea,
depression -the works.
