chemotherapy now and will begin radiation treatment within the next

New Cancer Cure13 May 2004 18:44 GMT4
Just kidding. Isn't it sad that people take these kind of posts seriously.
And it is bordering on criminal for those hucksters who try to sell their
dubious wares to those most vulnerable.

Hi Friends,
Still trying to analyse my son's medical reports. Pre-chemo, in February,

What is the normal range?
Getting feedback13 May 2004 12:17 GMT3
I am just wondering if anyone can respond to my question.
"How many of you have had physical pain after your loved one died?"
Since my Mom died in February from metastasized pancreatic cancer, I have

My mother-in-law's name was Evelyn, and we all spent the last days with her.
She will be missed.

My father just started treatment with Erbitux.  He has a bad acne-like
rash on his head, neck and torso.  Is there any known treatment for
this rash?
Port-o-Cath ?12 May 2004 15:57 GMT7
Dear group,
My husband began using his port-o-cath of 5-FU yesterday. I'm interested in
knowing other people's experiences with this. Have you had any "accidents"
with it (e.g., has the line broken, the caps unscrew, occlusion, etc.), or
CRS and weight loss12 May 2004 03:32 GMT10
Before I was diagnosed with CRC (stage 4) I kept my weight down by
jogging about 25 miles per week. At that activity level I could even
eat big bowls of ice cream without any change in my weight. If I
curtailed my diet at that time, I'd start loosing weight immediately.
Dealing withdoctors (was  Chemo Now vs. Surgery and Chemo Later)11 May 2004 19:50 GMT1
One of the commonest reactions I get when trying to tell patients the way
things are is "nobody ever explained it like this before".
In an ideal world the doctor should explain things clearly and concisely in
a language the patient can understand and give the patient time to

We now have the detailed one and it says it is NOT that, but merkel cell
carcinoma.
So, I'm now going to start researching that. But, meanwhile, if anyone can
