    First I know all are different and different things happen.  For those of you
on Thalidomide.  Did you have a rash on your face or look puffy.  I know from
the info Dad got that a rash can be one of the side effects.  His face is also
puffy.  So I thought I'd see if you saw either ...

My mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in February.  
She is receiving chemo now through a port in her chest.  
My question is - has anyone heard of a needle falling out
of the port and the chemo drugs being pumped into a persons

I just did did another American Cancer Society Relay For Life event.
This one was different though, as I wasn't just a fundraiser....I was
invited there as a survivor.

Yes, cancer is mutated DNA and aliens abduct people because they
cannot reproduce themselves , their genitals fell off a long time ago.

I went to a symposiun on mesothelioma last week and hyperthermic
chemotherapy was mentioned. Has anybody come accross this method of
treatment?

Anyone here had polio? How did chemo affect you?
I lost most of what I gained (I'm a paraplegic) over the last 40+ yrs
during 7 months of chemotherapy (does that make sense?). Recovery
after 3 months off chemo seems to have stuck at around 70%.

Recently my Mom completed a oxaliplatin folfox regimen for colon
cancer and was given a remarkably clean bill of health after followup
CAT and PET scans, as well as a colonoscopy.

I've been posting here occasionally because I have CRC stage IV and am
in the midst of chemo treatment. I come from a large family - 10
siblings - and they've been supporting me tremendously during my
trials. We've come together like at no other time.
