I just searched for a newsgroup and found you all, so "hi"!
My MIL has just been told that the results of a cone biopsy revealed she has
a cervical carcinoma and it has spread to the "glands".  I thought this
meant Lymph Nodes and was therefore bad news.  She will be seeing the doc ...

Perhaps J will now reveal what practical experience she has with
actual cancer sufferers beyond sitting at her computer and finding

My mother in law (65 years old) lives in Finland and she had
breastcancer in ´99 and successfully treated.
Recently she´s gone trough MRI and they discovered that cancer had
spread into the bones.

Is there a danger in getting the DT vaccine when one is having chemo
therapy (Xeloda)?  Our Oncologist says it is OK....Medscape says not a

I posted before about my 77 year old Dad's GBM.  He had a craniotomy 5 weeks
ago, and started on radiation therapy a week ago.  He's really recovered
quite well, better than I expected.  He's almost himself, and now gets
around with a cane.  Amazing considering a month ago his
