Have any of you, been treated with this kind of Chemo for breast cancer.
Did it help, Are the side effects bad?  My daughter was started on this
today, already she said her sides are hurting

arrived home thisafternoon.Can't really beleive its all happened !Had a
successful free trap.
My first few days after op were quite hard.The anesthesia caused all sorts
of problems, but i'm now home and doing well.Will talk more later.

The one that I went to & wrongly trusted, the one that determined my
cancer treatments & got me so badly harmed, .... was the Breast Cancer
Center at Methodist Hospital in Houston TX, the one staffed by Baylor
College of Medicine professors & asst professors.

  I don't agree with the "more harm than good" comment, though, as I
rather be alive than not.  Also interesting about the metabolism. Might
explain my 20 pound wt gain, although I chalk that up to my chemo brain

Found out today Deborah's last chest CT showed a minor pericardial
effusion - interesting that Dr. Smiley didn't mention it; the way we
found out was when Deborah was reading her chart today and looked at
the report from last month's chest CT.

Today, the docs said to phone Sloan-Kettering, & ask about any
alternative treatments & docs they'd recommend for Stage IV cancer,
anywhere near here (the East Texas, West Louisiana area).
Has anybody dealt with them? Had any good results?

I'm so excited and ready to get my balloon(s) at the clinic
tomorrow.  Thanks for all of you that have given good advice
on this ng.  I'm thankful this part of my journey has been
fairly uneventful!

My dear friend has had breast cancer of the non evasive variety and is
currently adamant about taking Tamoxifen to reduce the chance of
reoccurrence. However she smokes 1-2 packs of cigarettes daily with no end
in sight. From what I can tell Tamoxifen and from what her doctor ...
