Also, people hear I had my 6-month follow-up visit and they ask me "So how were your scans?" I suppose they mean PET scans, like the one I had before starting chemo. The oncologist told me routine scanning is not recommended for asymptomatic patients, but people seem surprised ...

just a quick update! today is 3 weeks post op on my free tram surgery. new breast looks amazing, very comfortable (suprisingly), keeping it hoisted up and secure,though feeling like a trust up chicken !!

The pain is less today then it has been all last week. I hope to get my drain out soon. Holidays this year are rough as I put just a few things out. I felt better going into this knowing my last CA test was within limits.
