i had a lumpectomy 11/05 and had a follow up mammogram done last week at
a closer hospital.
The radiologist said (and i saw) something was showing up on the film.
They took many views.  He is not sure if it's a new finding or scar

She's got severe hot flashes and was wondering if there were alternate
therapies out there to inquire about.
IF anyone knows of something that is as effective and perhaps without the
hot flashes please reply

I have recently returned to Australia for what I thought would be 2 weeks to
have a lump removed from my breast (assuredly NOT cancer from my doctor in
US) and to have my knee fixed (ski accident).  And so here I am still - of
course the lump was cancer, and then went the lymph ...

On a brief glimpse at CBS news this morning, I heard that the results of
a test were back, comparing Tamoxifen to Avista (osteoporosis drug?), &
that their effects on breast cancer, were the same.

I am sorry to say that I have not been keeping up with the group.  My
daughter who had breast cancer surgery three years ago had some markers up.
Subsequently had what they called a negative PET scan with some "vague"
areas in the liver area.
