Today we call on the United States Congress to step in and fully
investigate the entire circumstances surrounding the U.S. Food and

have twice tried to respond to your post titled "Deborah's Update", and
twice no message from me is on the group.  Giving this a whirl----responding
as if it's an original post, rather than a reply.
I hope that Deborah's feeling better after her chemo infiltrated tissue.  I
fatigue and nausea some weeks after chemo/radiation10 Aug 2005 10:06 GMT1
I've lurked here from time to time, but now I have a question.
Some background: My wife Susie was diagnosed with a smallish tumor in
2002; a lumpectomy removed it, and showed only 1/4 lymph nodes involved.
She was treated with CEF and radiation, and recovered nicely.  Then in
Deborah's father passed away last night...09 Aug 2005 18:00 GMT9
Some of you may remember that Deborah's dad has been battling
pancreatic cancer for the past year.  Well, Dr. Nick died suddenly of
a heart attack last night.
He'd had a great week - and even went to a party yesterday.  He moved
Join clinical trial: of lapatinib good idea?09 Aug 2005 12:50 GMT4
As I've said in previous postings, wife has been diagnosed with what
appears to be inflammational bc with lymph system and bone metastases,
HER2 negative, hormone-sensitive. (It wasn't actually described as
inflammational, but had all the symptoms, and no lump.)
Is it OK to wait?08 Aug 2005 22:31 GMT7
A routine mammogram detected a lump in my mom's right breast. (Mom is 67 and
her mother died of BC at 47.) A second mammogram confirmed the lump, but it
does not show up on ultrasound. The radiologist says we'll just repeat the
US in six months to see if anything has changed.

Membership claim07 Aug 2005 01:31 GMT13
Until now I have been posting to this group under false pretences, as
neither my wife nor myself are having treatment for cancer. I now claim
full membership, but fortunately at a less senior level than I feared.
Visited hospital today after recent tests, to arrange treatment. ...
Spouses who can't cope with BC05 Aug 2005 14:18 GMT7
What does one do if one has a spouse who can't cope with the wife having
bc because they are panic stricken over taking over all the home and
financial responsibilities the wife always handled?  First of all, the
bc spouse finds it depressing that her spouse spends his time already
Arimidex Question04 Aug 2005 12:15 GMT11
I am taking Arimidex 1 mg. once a day.  This morning due to someone
stressing me out as I was trying to eat breakfast and then take
medications, I somehow thought I had taken my Arimidex but did not.  I
did not notice this until I went to take another medication at noon and
Gene discovered that determines if breast cancer will spread01 Aug 2005 01:43 GMT1
I just read an article on health.dailynewscentral.com about a new gene
scientists discovered in breast tumors that determines if breast cancer
will spread to the lungs and if so how aggressive it will become. This
is fascinating and will be able to save many lives, hopefully.
Severe Headaches Possible Mets?01 Aug 2005 01:29 GMT11
I have a question for the group. A year ago I did have an MRI and everything
was clear. All that showed up was some "arthritis" in my neck.
For at least six weeks now I am getting the most severe headaches and some
blurred vision. Nothing will relieve the headache. I feel stupid ...
