Went for a follow-up recently to one of my BC team (surgeon). On the breast exam -- if you can call it that after a bilateral mastectomy! -- he found a moveable lump below my surgical scar, within the area of my radiation field.

My wife is 33. We are thinking of having our first baby. The problem is my wife's grandmother had breast cancer. Her mother died 10 years ago of lymphoma, so she *might* have also later developed bc, something we'll of course never know.

I have DCIS in my right breast. I've had a lumpectomy which still had DCIS in the margins. A 2nd operation to get a clean margin didn't. There were still DCIS cells there. I'm now trying to get info on reconstructive surgery so I can decide between that and a 3rd attempt
