I am a student at the University of Northern Iowa, and I am interested
in Breast Cancer because my grandmother died of Breast Cancer; and I am

Does anyone know the name of the synthetic hormones one can use when
taking the drug Arimidex?  Arimidex must be taken for 5 years by those
who are ER+ but it can cause many side effects similar to menopause
problems even if one is post-menopause.  I am very grateful to have such

  I live on the south bank of the humber and have treatment on the north
bank, to cross the bridge it is ?2:50 each way, which is not too bad at the
moment as I'm only going every three weeks for chemo..then there's ?2:00 or
?4:00 (depending on how long we have to be there,waiting) ...

Yes, please stay if you can benefit more from this breast cancer support
group.  I love the good old USA too, but I was born here, and know little
else.
I have heard complaints from some in the couutries with health coverage.

I never thought twice about this before, but it's begun to annoy me that the
news media always use the terms "battling," "fighting," and "struggle" when
referring to people with cancer.  Typically, when someone dies, they will
say, "She lost her battle with breast cancer yesterday" ...

   Every-ones very quiet at the moment....It't three weeks tomorrow since
my 1st chemo (FEC)..and I have just started losing my hair...it's
everywhere...all on my jumper and loads in the brush....will have to clip it
