There are some ongoing trials that intend to evaluate the use of
Herceptin (Trastuzumab) in the adjuvant setting for women having had
breast cancer and who test positive for HER-2. The researchers are
looking into whether it would be a good idea to give wimen Herceptin

My chemo treatments are being changed, again....everything that I had
been given hasn't worked..After being on different chemo treatments
for 3 years,  I will be given Gemzar with Taxol.
Has anyone been treated with these 2 together, and how bad are the

My wife is going through chemo right now. There are three more cycles to go

My wife has had bc  for quite some time, and now she has metastases on the

This last year she had this special  medication, something new,
experimental, but now, one year later, they tell us it does not  work

I hope I'm not out of line posting this here.  Two days ago, I received a
very lovely fruit basket with a get-well card from my boyfriend's mother and
sister, both of whom I barely know.  Unfortunately right now I am *so damn
sick* from chemo that I cannot eat a single bite of it ...

Has anyone had this procedure done on them?  I have had a mammo, and ultrasound
for breast discharge, and they couldn't determine what the eloganted mass in my
breast is.  So it's off to the surgeon for more tests.  This was suggested as
well as a biopsy.  Thanks for any info.
