Has anyone been given Neumega (oprelvekin) shots to increase very low platelet counts? Or does anyone know anything about it--ie, is it good, safe, side effects, etc? I'm going to ask my doctor about it tomorrow, but thought I'd seen if anyone here has had any experience

I saw an oncologist today who reviewed my reports. He said I was HR negative, so is recommending chemo with Cytoxan, Methotrexate, and 5-Fluorouracil. The descriptions of these drugs he gave me seem to have lots of side effects, though he said I would require about 14 weeks of

My doctor is recommending that I start Faslodex for my stage 4 BC. I tried Tamoxifen a couple of years ago, and the side effects were so bad that I had to stop it within a week. Since they're both hormonal treatments, I'm a bit worried that I might have similar problems with
