I am sure that when I go to my appointment at some point someone will
ask if I want my breast either reconstructed or have an implant.  My
partial mastectomy left me looking almost normal from the front, but
with a large divot on the side; am I being vain by considering getting

Thanks, Mary, for recommending that I read the book by Dr. Susan Love.  I
found lots of valuable information in it, and I believe it will be a help in
making the decisions I will need to make after surgery.
I am scheduled for an echocardiogram and a Doppler exam on the 15th of this
Leaving the newsgroup08 Apr 2004 11:41 GMT9
It's coming close to the time of my surgery and slowly adapting to a new
program of cleansing my body, meditation, and new diet.  What I am doing is no
fly by night.  However, I no longer wish to be a part of this newsgroup at this
time.  All I am getting are warnings, people ...

Last week we had my CT scans re-read by a university radiologist who wrote a

Pain after surgery03 Apr 2004 04:42 GMT3
I had a partial mastectomy 2 weeks ago.  The pain was tolerable and

Is radiation necessary?02 Apr 2004 22:40 GMT20
After going to the oncologist my wife was given the odds considering her
