I've just been, with my wife, to the oncologist for her 6 month check-up
following a rather delayed radiotherapy (started at 17 weeks post op).

Just a quick "thanks" to all who responded to my original message about how to

Why do the doctors require a biopsy to prove cancer, before they'll
operate?  Is this a govt or insurance company requirement or rule?
I believe that the biopsies might spread the cancer.  And that sloppy
surgical removal of the breasts or lumps, might spread the cancer too.

Meaning just mets to the lungs without mets to the liver or bones....or

I was dx with lungs mets last Fall and since my symptoms have gotten
