Melatonin for ER+ Breast Cancer?25 Jan 2004 00:18 GMT1

I've bought the 3 mg(?) sublingual-type, & am using it at night.
So far, I feel a bit groggy & odd during the day, ... but not anywhere
Sleep, Tamoxifen, Arimidex, Menopause, Chocolate24 Jan 2004 23:58 GMT16
I may've mentioned that I've been wrangling with sleep interruption
since BC treatment started.  I go to sleep easily, but wake up

I've done *everything* I can think of (self-hypnosis CDs, way more

This study was just published this week.  I post mostly to

Hi Group,
I have to have a pelvic ultrasound and a mini d and c for bleeding that has
occurred more than twenty years after chemopause.  It began and stopped
after about a week.  Had led up to this bleed with some spotting.  I don't

What Type of Breast Reconstruction should I choose?21 Jan 2004 19:10 GMT11
Ok, so I've got the bad news. Chemo didn't reduce the 6 or 7 tumours well
enough to get a lumpectomy or two. I guess I was dreaming in techo-colour.
I agreed to a mastectomy (crossed my fingers behind my back) under the
condition that I leave the hospital with another breast. So I'm ...

I haven't reported an update on my arm/shoulder lately but am still having
difficulty.  I don't believe I have had the 'right' type of evaluation yet--and
hopefully will get that soon, if not immediately.  I am fearful that what is
going on may involve brachial plexus involvment ...
I just need some reassurance...21 Jan 2004 08:40 GMT7
My mom was diagnosed last year with BC and has undergone treatment for
it over the past year. I have been looking at this group frequently
over the past few weeks, and I feel amazed at all the knowledge that
everyone seems to have about their own condition, various treatment

did.  I have recently had my second chemo treatment and much like the
first one it went pretty well.  I have developed breast pain
associatead with the lumpectomy incision.  One other time the breast

Sleep, Tamoxifen, etc. -- The Next Chapter20 Jan 2004 12:33 GMT1
OK, so I previously mentioned that my sleep doc wanted my onco doc to
take me off Tamoxifen to see whether it was causing my sleep
interruption problems.  My onco didn't want to do that, and suggested
switching me to Arimidex, which concerned me because I'm not sure I'm
