Is there a "set" time that they must wait to do our radiation treatments after we are done with Chemo? Is it the same for everyone or does it depend on what type of Chem we get and for how long? I ask this because my oncologist said today I must wait 2 weeks after my last Chemo

| Doing the walk and where it is taking me... | 24 Nov 2003 04:07 GMT | 2 |
Just wanted to share that accomplishing the 3-day walk gave me a further sense of enpowerment--maybe I did make that 'running' train I jumped on. Dare I hope to believe that the dr's were able to get 'all' of the cancer and that this may someday be something of my past. Why can't ...

| Do people tell you about other people whom have died from cancer? | 22 Nov 2003 10:13 GMT | 14 |
Over the past few months, Janet has become increasingly upset by people, seemingly in all innocence, who tell her about their friend, or mum, or friend of a friend, who had cancer, went into remission, but it came back 5 years, or 10 years, or 15 years later, and they died.

| I did it--3 day breast cancer walk! | 20 Nov 2003 03:14 GMT | 7 |
This past weekend I did the Susan G. Komen 3-day Breast Cancer walk in L.A. Except for blisters (which were quite tolerable), I was unscathed. The experience was so inspiring. I was part of a team which was fun and made the training more doable than if I had tried to do it alone ...
