Itchy scalp - related to using Ventolin?30 Aug 2004 01:24 GMT1
I was only diagnosed with mild asthma two days ago and have now been
using Ventolin for 2 days, 2 puffs a day as prescribed by my doctor.
I don't know whether this is related or not, but during the past
couple of days my scalp has started to get itchy and sore in a few

Breath holding and asthma29 Aug 2004 15:19 GMT131
Is there any relationship between one's ability to hold one's breath and
asthma?  I've been experimenting in the pool lately with seeing how long
I can hold my breath (well watched, holding onto the side, and taking
just about every other precaution possible - this can be a ...

Rhincort question27 Aug 2004 12:00 GMT12
My almost 3 yr old son was prescribed Pulmicort and Rhinocort AQ on a daily
basis last year when he was diagnosed with asthma.  He hasn't had an attack
in awhile so I lessened his Pulmicort to once daily and would like to stop
the Rhinocort.  My question is...does anyone who uses ...

Out of curiosity, I just googled your name and found one post
after the next on various sites that pushed your favorite asthma
treatment of the year.
Based on things I've read here, I understand that for a while,
buy pulmicort respules from Canada23 Aug 2004 10:18 GMT1
I'd like to buy pulmicort respules from Canada for my 3 year old
child. I've looked on several canadian pharmacies web sites, but so
far I haven't found any pulmicort respules for sale. Does anybody know
a canadian pharmacy that sells them or where I could get some for
Allergy Tests - Are they worth it ?21 Aug 2004 10:44 GMT6
I am having my allergies tested (scratch test) as soon as I can get
off antihistamines for a week.  I keep getting sick whenever I go off
both antihistamines and antiinfamitories.  Should I ask for prednisone
for the week?
Hair loss - steroid cause from inhalers?21 Aug 2004 10:18 GMT2
I have had asthma on and off since about 1997 but have been off using any
inhalers up until about 6 months ago when, stupid me, I worked myself into
the ground and my asthma resurfaced probably as a result of stress.
My Doctor put me back on my usual blue inhaler - bricanyl - and ...

I went to see my new doctor yesterday to get some codeine linctus to
help with a cough. Every time I get a cold I get this really horrible,
lingering cough that causes me to cough persistently for minutes on
end and feel like I am choking. It is worse at night, and causes me to
Alternative to Prednisone?19 Aug 2004 09:13 GMT4
I have coughing asthma, usually triggered by a bad enough cold. I cough
constantly and sometimes violently and the cough can last 6 weeks treated or
non-treated. The standard treatment for it is prednisone. Prednisone really
doesn't work all that well. I can still have coughing fits ...
