I am a male 73 years old. When I was a child to adulthood, I suffered from Asthma. Lately, my Doctor said I now have some symptoms of it again. He prescribed Combivent inhaler. These types of medications were not available to me in the1930's and 1940's.

Wondering if anyone has a recommendation on how to find a good doctor. I live in Atlanta, GA US. Haven't been able to find anyone good just going through my insurance provider. Can't seem to get my asthma managed well and am thinking a good doc would be

I have a tendency to slight bronchial wheezing when I have a cold but have only ever suffered asthma attacks when visiting my mother's 300 yr old cottage in the south of England. I am aware that I'm allergic to house dust but my mum's house can't be any dustier than mine(!?)

It says on my asthma medication info. sheet: "WARNING: Ratio Salmeterol may be associated with rare serious asthma attacks (potentialy fatal). Some patients prescribed salmeterol when their asthma is worsening may have an increase ricks of this event."

I was wondering if anyone has problems with laryngitis after using Serevent or Azmacort. I have sporadic problems with asthma, and it seems that I lose my voice several hours after using these medications. Any information would be appreciated.
