i'm worried about melinda and her family.  the santa cruz mountain area is
ablaze.  the fire has devoured about 3000 acres so far, only 20% contained
and they are expecting it to cover 10,000 acres before it is contained.  so,
if anyone hears anything from melinda, please post it ...

My 35 year old toilet needed replacing so the plumber installed one that
is Chair Height.  My knees have never been so happy!!!!   It's a larger
unit, takes up more space, costs more money than a standard one, but is
soooo worth it.  I highly recommend it to any one with arthritis.

I just got a new MAJOR ankle  brace. There is a steel shank inside the
sole of my shoe (they cut the sole, then glued it back together). then
there's a channel cut into the sides of the heel of the shoe and a
metal bar runs through that and is attached at either side to metal

had my mr images done yesterday morning.  that's got to be the narrowest mri
tube i've ever been in!  i don't know if it was an older model or a newer
one, but it felt like it was made  kidsize.  needless to say the hard metal,
sliding bed was a challenge because of having to be ...

I have been diagnosed with AS at 29.  I am now 45 years.  I have been
managing with NSAIDs all these years without much concerns since the
pain used to be intermittent  (about 3 in a year) and goes away  in
about 3 weeks when I could stop NSAIDs. I also used to get Iritis
