Over the last couple of days my new knee has become quite painful and swollen. The operation was 5 weeks ago yesterday (Wednesday) so I'm wondering if I've just been trying to make it do a little too much, or if this is something I should get looked at.

I have been having bad knee problems for a number of years, slowly worsening. Anyway, x-rays + MRI reveal arthritic changes (more inflammatory than osteo wear and tear) as well as torn meniscus cartilege.
