OTP  Christmas Poem by U.S. Marine27 Nov 2007 14:33 GMT1
I've seen something like this before I'm sure, but it is still appropriate.
I have not checked Snopes to see if it was really written by a U S Marine!
Feel free if you wish to do so.

Thanksgiving Morning News26 Nov 2007 02:58 GMT19
At six this morning, my younger daughter gave birth to Emily Lin.
I always have said Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
Details later.  After 23 hours of labor, we were lucky to even get a phone
call before they get some rest.

Another surgery in my future24 Nov 2007 01:39 GMT8
Saw the oncologist this morning. I was a little nervous because I had been
having a similar symptom....i.e., hard area in my abdomen when standing,
pain, and tenderness when I wasn't standing. I was nervous because, of
course, I thought the cancer had returned (it's been 4 months ...
Bone Pain - Update24 Nov 2007 00:14 GMT15
Saw my RD on Wed. and he seems to think all the pain in my ribs and chest is
RA.  Has anyone heard of this?  I trust my doc but this just seems weird to
me.  Not sure why it should since I have RA everywhere else.  Does anyone
have it in those locations?

RD visit23 Nov 2007 17:13 GMT9
I went back to OSU for a follow-up.  Dr. Kantor's opinion is that I don't
have active RA, but I do have OA in my hands and lower spine AND I have
fibromyalgia.  Sooooooooooo, he's having me stop the MTX (I'm not so sure
about that one), switch my prozac to cymbalta (for the ...

I had a kenalog shot on Oct. 30th. I had severe stomach pains, nausea
and continuous vomiting for 4 days. I called my rheumatologist and he
said the symptoms should stop after 2 days. 22 days later I am having
bad stomach pain, nausea and vomiting after I eat (oddly enough

Nann update22 Nov 2007 22:45 GMT9
I saw my RD back on the 8th.  There was good news - while my joints have
worsened *some* since stopping Enbrel, it isn't a dramatic worsening yet and
we agree we can watch things for a while longer before trying to find a safe
DMARD for me.
Knee follow-up22 Nov 2007 16:57 GMT2
Well, I just got back from my follow-up visit to the hospital. I was
rather surprised to find myself talking to a physiotherapist, rather
than a doctor. She explained that the whole purpose of the visit was to
see how my knee was working.
