Saw my orthopedist today.  Both of my knees have been hurting for
about six months.  One knee started hurting about a year ago.
Diagnosed with chondromalasia and mild wearing of meniscus.  At first
only the one knee hurt, and only when I sat down, stood up or used

OA diagnosed 2 years ago in both knees.  Recently has been a real
bother, Bakers cyst developed, reduced mobility.
Standing knee x-rays showed that I have pretty much no cartilage on the
inside (medial side) of the knee joint; bone on bone.  The rest of the

Well, I'm home!  Has been a long day, but at least I have the first of
the two infusions under my belt now!
My RD decided this time to not do the IV benedryl since I had reactions

Finally had my first infusion yesterday.  It was uneventful.  Not
scheduled for the second until 2 weeks from now.  I know that many get
their first two 1 week apart and I should have asked why but I was
barely awake after my time in the recliner. Will keep you all posted.

Well, just got a note in the mail from the new specialist I was sent to
for this CVID. She drew some additional bloodwork the last time I was
there to see her, and my tryptase level came back quite elevated.  She
now wants me to go see another allergist who specializes in tryptase
