Could use a little prayer help, guys. Just spoke to my Mom. She's been in
the hospital now for a bit more than a week, in ICU since Friday night. She
had a minor heart attack. While they say there is no major damage, her heart
still won't stay in a steady rhythm.

I know why nobody is posting.  We're all waiting for the mailman with our

i feel like i've asked asa for double duty this past six months, but
here i am again. my sister, the one with severe ms who just lost her
husband to cancer, fell in the shower this morning and broke her hip.
she couldn't reach her "police pendant" but fortunately her friend

Hoping you are doing fine, reading some of the posts, I see that Firechief's
recovery is slow, I hope he gets better fast, he was always very encouraging
before my THR, I'm doing well, going to PT, graduated to a cane, no pain on
the operated hip, and planned to get the other one ...

Hi, I am very new to this support group stuff, I have never joined
before, but thought I would give it a try. I feel like I am constantly
whining about pain, but am trying to maintain my life with some
dignity! It is just like in the TV commercials, 57, but feel like 107!

ugh, i made the mistake of googling "RA" and 'cataract surgery"
together. Really wish I hadn't done that! i'm a lot more anxious than

Just got this from Mary and thought I would let you all know about it.
Just wanted to let you both know that Joe is doing as well as can be
expected.  He is hurting alot more this time so recovery will be slow. He is

Friday morning, very early, I developed cellulitis in my surgery leg.  There
was some concern by the ER doctor that the infection might travel to my new
hip prosthesis, so I spent all of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and most of
Monday and Tuesday flat in bed with my leg elevated ...

I'll be starting Remicade shortly as the Humira hasn't done the trick.
I've been on it for a couple of years but it slowly lost it's
effectiveness.  I'm allergic to Methotrexate and Arava it appears but
the doc wants me to start Metho again.  I'll give it ago but if my
