questions about the symptoms and course of osteoarthritis and Baker's cyst31 Jul 2007 09:25 GMT4
I am newly diagnosed by my rheumatologist with OA and a Baker's cyst. I have
had the pain and swelling in my knees for about 4 months. Sometimes also,
swelling of the ankles and feet. Before that it started gradually with
stiffness in one knee. Xrays in May showed no arthritis, ...
THE FIBRO WELCOME PACKAGE31 Jul 2007 09:01 GMT5
This is Rose.  Some of you may still remember me.  I use to post the
Welcome Package.  It has been a long time since I have posted online.
Due to health reasons I had to stop.  I do have some good news.  The
new, expanded edition of the Fibromyalgia Welcome Package is now on

Life in these northern zones gets so busy in the summer!  I have, of course,
been quietly building a flare since getting completely off the vacation
medrol.  About a week ago the feet began kicking in and now the little toe on
my left foot is tormenting me.  That toe would have ...

My wife who is 53 years old and in otherwise great shape, just had her 3rd total hip replacement in 8 months.  The need for a hip replacement started with avascular necrosis of her femoral head and neck likely due to an earlier traumatic injury.  The problem now is a total lack ...

really apprehensive about it this time around.
Recognizing our blessings30 Jul 2007 23:31 GMT12
We are all blessed in so many different ways, both large and small.
Often, though, we focus on the rough patches in our lives instead of the
blessings. The blessings really are there EVERY day, if we so choose to
see them.
OTP: Anyone hungary???30 Jul 2007 22:55 GMT16
Wow, what a difference a day makes!!!
It really cooled down quite a bit here overnight. High today has just
managed to climb to 74 and quite breezy.   Sooo, got into a cooking
mood this afternoon.
Telephone30 Jul 2007 20:51 GMT2
I'm trying to find a headset that I can use.  My hands are too mucked up to
hold a receiver any more.   The portable phones have such idiotically such
small dialing buttons that I could scream.
I just got a Plantronics CT12 system and the buttons are worthless.  Their

It means alot to all of us.
I was kind of ticked because the mail man threw them in the garage. I had
Kineret29 Jul 2007 19:24 GMT8
I've done a search, and there is some info out there, but I'm lazy at
heart (and in body)...  I'd like to ask a couple of questions:
1)  Is anyone currently on Kineret?
2)  Does the hurt ever go away during injection?
