pleurisy ,costochondritis, & pericarditis?10 Apr 2007 22:16 GMT18
I was just wondering if anyone here has dealt with pleurisy,
costochondritis, and pericarditis?  How was it diagnosed?  What is the
treatment? How long do I have to deal with this unbearable pain?  Any
help is appreciated.

Okay, so here I am, minding my own business, getting my house organized and
put together when the pain in my gut got so bad I just couldn't deal with it
anymore. The DH was at work, so I called a friend who not only took me up
there, she stayed with me until the DH got off work ...
Vacume Cleaners...taking a poll10 Apr 2007 07:44 GMT17
OK, everyone, I'm taking a poll.
I'm relatively sure that my vacume died on me tonight.   Major bummer,
but it is about 13 years old, so I guess I can't complain too much.
So, am taking a poll to see what kind of vacume everyone has and how
Crutch preference10 Apr 2007 05:24 GMT7
I had a hip replacemet last year and will soon need the other done.
I've been using underarm crutches the whole time and wonder if anyone
has used both underarm and forearm crutches for extended periods? I'm
only using one crutch right now so I can carry things on the side
snoring, and shingles AGAIN!10 Apr 2007 04:12 GMT22
Darned shingles. I get them about once or twice a year and this is one

you have had it. Any tricks I may not have tried yet for the pain
levels? I can handle my usual pain, but this nerve pain is a whole

my right knee, knocking me down and causing intense pain to the leg and knee
joint.  When I finally got a referral to see an orthopedist (after two
weeks) he seemed to make light of it and said I was ...

do any of you have trouble with heat/perspiring?09 Apr 2007 07:18 GMT26
I don't know if I can face summer again. Something is really haywire
in my internal thermostat. this is different than hot flashes, which
I've had for about 7 years. This occurs with the slightest bit of
exertion, even indoors. My head, face and neck perspire dramatically.
