I had a really good appointment with my RD.  He listened, agreed, gave
me a prescription for the anti-bio protocol.   Metacycline which has
replaced the old tetracycline with reduced side effects.  I did not realize
it had to be taken everyday,,, twice a day to begin with.

Rheumy just called me & that was scary because it's a first. :-D He says
my blood tests were "boringly normal", and I can taper down the pred
dosage faster. If the nausea is still killing me, I can just quit the

I had my surgery on Friday,the procedure went very quickly, had to be at the
clinic at 6:00  and got back in my bed by 10:00.
About the surgery I have no idea  if it will work or not, the pain down my

Hi Campers - long time mostly lurker here. I never have anything to add

Thank you all for your prayers.  The surgery went well.  My doctor was
quite surprised at how bad the inflammation and impingement of the
nerve were.  It was much worse than the emg and nerve conduction study
showed. He theorized that some of my meds may have masked the
