wow, what's wrong with me? i couldn't resist putting melinda's name in
a subject line. but seriously, M, i just read an article about
acupuncture and hot flashes. i'm in my eighth year of them and i think
i've been QUITE PATIENT long enough. i was on effexor to deal with them

Since Friday, Earthlink's newserver has been claiming no new messages
on ANY group - obviously something is very wrong!  So to let you know,
I'm reading on Google and sending prayers, good thoughts and chill
pills to those who need them, but won't be posting much through this

I'm waiting on getting details about the funeral from her
neighbor/friend and there's a buncha Patty's friends who will be discussing
(soon) the best way to funnel help to her and the kids. Dunno yet whether an
account will be set up or people will be sending contributions ...

I am off to the hospital this morning for my long awaited hip surgery.

Welcome to asa, Richard. Sounds like you have some serious problems. I can't
remember all of your first post, but I remember you have a TENS machine. I have
one, but can't help with the settings because my physiotherapist set it for me.

A family member has some varicose veins in her right leg. She bumped
her lower right leg pretty hard against an object and bruised
her skin. The cut is now a bit red but dried up.
Now, near the cut there is some swelling around more veins.
