Hot Pepper Rub26 Dec 2006 22:21 GMT1
I just started reading this group, and would like to know if anyone has
gotten any relief from minor joint pain by using that cream that's made
from hot chili peppers.  (capsaysin?)  Thank you.

Bless my PCP26 Dec 2006 03:08 GMT7
He came through with a dose pack for me yesterday - and asked if one will
take care of it!  (I replied, "sometimes.")  It's been awhile since I've had
a costo flare this bad with so little obvious cause so I'm just not sure -
but the door is open if I need more.
A Merry, Happy, Christmas to all.26 Dec 2006 03:06 GMT5
I do appreciate the Christmas cards I have received from ASA folks, but have
not sent any at all this year--not even to family.  Neither have I bought
any gifts.  My heart is back in rhythm but I still have fluid in my lungs
and I just can't do anything without getting just ...

One more Christmas story26 Dec 2006 02:37 GMT3
Many years ago I ran an ambulance call for an injured child and was
advised on route that a baby was being shaken out a window and police
were enroute.  The policy that we follow today of staying out of
insecure violent incidents was not written down back then and the

Ever have that unwanted relative drop by for the holidays? Bad timing on
everyone's part, but is there any good time? Very little sleep last night
thanks to my new buddy. Even my skin hurts right now. Really a treat hitting
that cold toilet seat!! lol, oww! So have been ...

About a month ago when we had our first big snowfall, I was trying to
push snow off my driveway and felt something snap. I had cracked a
lower rib. Since then it has been pretty painful, but tolerable in
comparison to some of the joint  paun we experience in the day-to-day.

Enbrel & Sinus Problems24 Dec 2006 19:47 GMT7
My wife has had a persistant cough since summer and I am wondering if her
weekly Enbrel injections for RA are the cause. If so, would there be much
use in asking her Dr to switch her to Humira, Remicade or ?
Thanks for any advice.
tennis balls on walker24 Dec 2006 19:16 GMT3
Mom has been toodling around with a walker now for over a year,
standard walker with wheels in front and skids, rather than rubber
feet, in back.  She likes to lean on it while moving, so rubber tips
on the back are not appropriate.  The skids aren't bad, some kind of

There are not enough words or adjectives to express
how much I appreciate all the help extended to me,
the words of encouragement and prayers said on my
