Low fever (99.5 F)03 Dec 2006 18:32 GMT2
Is it possible that a RA flare cause a low fever (99.5F) temperature? Nose,
throat and ears are normal. I don't have a cough. But my muscles are stiff,
my knees are nuts and especially my shoulders, elbows, wrists and fingers
are stiff and painful. I feel feverish.

The orthopedic surgeon's nurse called:  I have a 'orientation' this
coming tuesday, blood work on wedneday, consultation with the nurses and
doctor, pre admitting to the hospital.....and then next Tuesday is the

I posted here about a year ago.  I was trying to get cleared to have my
hip replaced after my open heart surgery.  My cardiologist and heart
surgeon have both finally cleared me.  I just heard from the hospital
that I am scheduled for December 12th.  They will get in touch with me

I'm on methotrexate -- 8 pills weekly -- and it seems to be doing an okay
job, along with the other assorted drugs.

Well, after a clear CT and a clear colonoscopy (I just can't WAIT for
