Went to my PCP today and found that my heart is still fibrillating.  He said
that probably is the reason I am still so weak, but he also drew blood to
check my potassium since I'm on lasix.  He let me start back on tramadol for
my OA, and I am so glad.  I hardly slept last night ...

Can't believe it's December already. I am actually just reading the
replies and comments to this original post I made back in August.
Sorry about that, but the last months have been absolute hell

Luckly I did get to see my rheum. doctor and nothing was torn (all he
did was x-rays so I guess that was all he needed), He said was still
just OA and bruised cartledge behind my knees.  My left middle finger
also has OA and I am still in horrible pain.  I think he feels since I

How do you deal with pain? Mine is my knees (severe OA) and I can hardly
walk because of them, not at all outside (I need a walker for round the
house). The throbbing also stops me sleeping. I can't take NSAID's either
cos of kidney probs. Any non drug/non drug treatments or tips ...

Does anyone know for sure if Polymyalgia Rheumatica is a form of
Arthritis.. The Dr. has me on prednisone. Trying  to take a low dosage, but
11 Mg. is bout' as low as I've been able to go..Does anyone take it for
arthritis?.
