OTP - Some good news and a question23 Nov 2006 17:50 GMT33
I just got back from my 6 month checkup with my cardiologist. After he
listened to my heart for a long time (longer than usual), I thought he
was going to tell me something was wrong as he kept going back to listen
to it again. But then he said "It's beating stronger".  I never ...

first seizure this last weekend and it was not fun at all. I lost part of my
eyesight last weekend but it did return when the ...
GI Doc called23 Nov 2006 04:21 GMT12
Okay, here's the scoop. I have a lot of small bleeding ulcers throughout my
small intestines. He said it looked like classic NSAID (non-steroid
anti-inflammatory drug) damage. Then, when he found out I have been off
NSAIDS for at least 6 weeks, he seemed unsure. He said he ...

Saw doc bowel problem22 Nov 2006 13:25 GMT9
I saw my pcp today and he is referring me to a specialist.  He said
there will be many tests which may end up with a need for surgery to
correct the problem.  It is not that uncommon and the results of the
surgery are always positive. I just do not want another surgery.

Just home from hospital  (long)21 Nov 2006 19:23 GMT18
Yes, I should have gone to ER, but didn't.  And I am usually not that
careless.  However, I did go to my PCP's office early Wednesday AM and he
didn't let me come home.  I now have atrial fibrillation and had fluid on
the lungs---in fact, all over me.  I lost 9 pounds in the ...
very otp:  Thanksgiving letter to God21 Nov 2006 15:06 GMT1
While walking past my daughter's door, I spotted a two page

this had written as a response to our pastor preaching about
Thanksgiving attitudes.  (I did ask her if I could put it online to
