I have just been diagnosised with OA in both knees. How badly is up in
the air. They hurt like h*ll and after a full days work all I want to
do is sit down cry. I also have fibro and thoracic outlet syndrome

Was reading articles from Firechief that he sent to me.
The one was about the gigantic icicle at Multnomah Falls in Portland Oregon.
At the end of the post he said that him and Mary visited that site during

I've been ordered by my doctor to have a lumbar epidural injection for
my disc bulge of the L5-S1 area.  I've searched the groups section and
have not found any recent feedback and was wondering what the opinion
is regardin lumbar epidural injection vs having the surgery?

i was disappointed by my feb. 2nd's post-op appmt.  had been expecting to
have the cast removed and be good to go, begin the physical therapy.  that
wasn't the case and it took me a long while to get over myself.<smile>  cast
was removed on feb 2nd and then, it was put right back ...

i have 3 cool books in cd sets that i've already listened to.  the sweet
friend who sent them to me (knowing how difficult holding books has been for
me lately, with my injuries and subsequent surgeries), said to find others
who love reading and have difficulty holding books ...

Dear Folks,
My husband has a pain in the heel of his hand making it difficult to
open the hand, not close it.  What does this sound like to you?  He has
no known artitis in his hands but I won't be surprised.

I am 60 and have OA in my hips...usuall story of steady getting worse over
last few years..
I used to walk a lot ...to and from work every day etc...as the OA has
become worse I have cut the walking and other wear-on-the-legs activity down
