Celebrex vs Bextra and Vioxx 24 Feb 2006 00:42 GMT5
I'm developing arthritis and my doctor has given me some Celebrex to try
out.  He swears by it and says his wife uses the stuff.  However, I'm
wondering after the bad experiences with Bextra and Vioxx whether any Cox-2
drug is safe.  Any thoughts?

MTX...I need reminding23 Feb 2006 08:20 GMT8
I was on MTX off and on and now I am back on.  I took 3 pills last night and
fell like crap today.  It feels like I have to burp, mouth salivating, and a
pressure under the bottom part of my sternum.
Last week was my first time back with it in over 5 years and I did fine
Scooter help needed!23 Feb 2006 05:11 GMT1
My husband wants to buy a second walker since we have to get the hand
brakes fixed on my existing walker. I'm looking for a recommendation.
What I have now is a Featherweight Walker - it has 4 wheels and a seat
with a basket under it. Hand brakes like on a ten speed bike. It
Blue Toe ~ Lurker23 Feb 2006 01:56 GMT7
I am 67, having had RA for 15 years. I am not a diabetic.
Has anyone ever had, or heard of this? I referred to it as a black toe,
but the doctor speaks of it as a blue toe. This began Jan. 22, and do
have excruciating pain at times. Taking Naprosyn and Tylanol.
OTP kind of - long whine - chronic cough23 Feb 2006 00:54 GMT8
For those of you who know me on the arthritis support newsgroup, this
may be a bit new.  My arthritis has been fairly well under control
since I went on Arthrotec, though it will flare if I'm on my feet too
much.

Knees21 Feb 2006 22:55 GMT7
I have not posted to this group before, although I have been "lurking", as
they say.
I am a 62 y/o male living in Wareham, Dorset (a beautiful part of the
country!) and I was aware some 10 years ago of painful knees when walking.

Need Advice For My Wife21 Feb 2006 03:11 GMT9
My wife Patty has been having problems with her hands for some time.
She had Carpal Tunnel Surgery on her right hand last June. This was
preceded by nerve conduction studies and several consultations. This has
resulted in less tingling in that hand but no real reduction in pain. ...
