Day 10 in hospital19 Dec 2005 12:46 GMT9
I'm not really counting the 23 hours I was out of the hospital -- cause
it just felt like a break. Nothing much going on. The doctors still
haven't reached a concensus but it looks like they are more leaning
towards the hematoma idea. A bleed from the blood thinners but nothing

Gout attacks without the redness?18 Dec 2005 16:52 GMT11
I have gout, I've gone to a rheumatologist to be examined.  My first
attacks were "classic" and occurred at the base of my big toe.  Now,
I've had 2 attacks where I'm in a great deal of pain but the normal
redness and swelling aren't that evident but I KNOW it's an attack.
Blood Clots ??18 Dec 2005 16:20 GMT7
Is it possible to get them in your fingers?  I have a lot of pain in my
left hand index finger just above/between the DIP and PIP joints.  It
looks like a tiny bruise, but it's a very defined, blue vein thing.
I've had it for a few weeks now, and it hurts like a sunnovabitch, ...

Back in the hospital17 Dec 2005 04:28 GMT23
Well that wasn't a long reprieve. Got to go home and unpack, pay the
bills, take a shower and develop a bleed inside my right knee. The
lovonex apparently made my knee bleed and it swollen and hurts like
hell.  Gravity drew the blood down into my foot and ankle as well.

A rather short man set himself up as a store front fortune-teller, where
he fleeced several "clients" of large sums of money. When the police, in
response to the complaints, went to arrest him, he slipped out the back
door and managed to avoid capture.

~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THOUGHTS:
Perhaps you've heard the story of Johnny Lingo, a man who lived in the South
Pacific. The islanders all spoke highly of him. He was strong, good-looking,
and very intelligent. But when it came time for him to find a wife, people
