Saw RD05 Nov 2005 21:46 GMT8
Saw a new RD first one since being in MO.  HE says I definitely have
FMS and probably some type of Arthritis.  We will see what he says in
two weeks.  He took xrays of my handsand blood tests. The pain in my
joints does not feel like when I hd Ra.  I have heard to RA returns it
Frustration05 Nov 2005 16:05 GMT22
I'm frustrated.  I really am.  Breaking my ankle was bad enough, at
least, I thought.  But, insult is always added to injury.  And insult,
in this case, is the spin-off pain from the broken ankle.
At least, that's how my RD is considering it.  I had an appt with him
OTP   Tired of useless e-mail05 Nov 2005 13:27 GMT10
I just received my messages that have accumulated in the last 2 hours and
there are 154 of them.  I doubt if 6 or 8 of them are actually anything that
I need to read.  I've heard not to try to remove posters since that just
verifies your address.  What do all of you do?  I am so ...
update with rd04 Nov 2005 22:31 GMT4
Well if I fall asleep during this email just know it has been a long, long,
long, few weeks.
Saw my rd yesterday and there is not enough good words or bottles of good
wine to thank him.  A good doctor is worth their weight in gold.  He still
hip acetabular labral tear04 Nov 2005 21:58 GMT1
Back in 2000 while stepping up a curb I experienced an incredibly sharp
pain in my left hip. After an MRA I was diagnosed with a labral tear.
About three years later in 2003 the same thing happened in my right
hip. I'm only 31 now in 2005 so I was pretty young to get idiopathic
Osteo Bi-Flex04 Nov 2005 06:10 GMT9
If I had had any doubt that Osteo Bi-Flex was helping my OA, I have learned
better the last two weeks.  I was out of it when my pneumonia started, and
haven't felt like going shopping since.  My hands and left hip are telling
me to get better fast and go to Sam's.

A new to me hand exerciser03 Nov 2005 01:03 GMT4
Was at the physio store today and bought something called a Power Web.
Never hear of it before and it's sort of like a big ring with elastic
stretched through the middle and used for hand exercises.  So far it's fun
to use and that alone will encourage me to keep using it.
Update with neurologist02 Nov 2005 23:08 GMT6
Well saw the neurologist today and it looks good.  He sees on the mri (which
the radiologist and the first neurologist did not) some inflammation of part
of the spine.  He said this would cause these symptoms and they will
eventually go away - probably in 2 - 4 week or maybe more ...
Access Port for IV's02 Nov 2005 19:07 GMT11
I went today for my monthly IVIG and after 5 sticks left without
getting my infusion.. I swear these nurses couldn't find a vein with a
map! When I first started getting my infusions at the dr's office, they
had totally different nurses who never had any trouble with sticking
New to group02 Nov 2005 17:56 GMT20
My Doc has finally opened his eyes to what I am saying (as well as what an
ortho. surgeon stated) that I suffer acute arthritis in my lower back. This
coupled with this distinct cracking and grinding of my hips and shoulders
has prompted him to order additional tests. He has ...
OTP  Halloween Joke02 Nov 2005 16:39 GMT1
Two men were walking home after a Halloween party and decided to take a
shortcut through the cemetery just for laughs. Right in the middle of the
cemetery they were startled by a tap-tap-tapping noise coming from the misty
shadows.
No pity, just party!02 Nov 2005 10:29 GMT11
Hi all, I love reading everyone's aches and pain problems and general
problems. With as much pain and complaints that I have ( I have RA and
trying to get pregnant so no major meds) it doesn't sound so bad after I
read everyone else problems I feel for everyone then get on with ...
frustrated once again02 Nov 2005 10:15 GMT6
Well I had my 2 month visit with my RA since I have been on enbrel. He
seemed to be so happy that I looked good, said that my hands weren't
swollen, well they never have been. I told him about my legs and calf
muscles are aching so much and could it be the shot, he said no, try ...
About Marci02 Nov 2005 01:27 GMT1
Hey, has anyone heard from the Lake Goddess about how Marci is doing and
what was the cause of the severe stomach pains? Or did I just miss the post?
