long day. just back at 3:30pm. my dear friend, linda, picked me up at 8am and took me to my pre-op appmt. i had her come in the examroom with me to help me remember stuff i wanted to ask and answers and anything she could think of to ask, that i'd forget.

I had a hip replacement 3 years ago September and I have had no problems with it. I always was a very good swimmer and I was a lifeguard in my youth. I notice, however, I had a problem in my communityswimming pool.

My mom is visiting for the Jewish holidays. It's a wonderful visit so far. Mom went to a dermatologist about her skin peeling when she washes off her makeup - he says it's the prednisone, not the kinneret. He says if she is able to stay off it long enough it will clear her system ...

I've finally made it to Indiana on a beautiful one-way ticket. Dylan and I are settling in nicely and I'm trying to unpack and clean and everything else. He's being fantastic and incredibly helpful and I'm trying to not be pain about our different definitions of clean/tidy.
