I don't know where you all are located, but here in the northeast, it
has been raining for a week and a half straight now.
It has me in a nasty flare-everything hurts, all of my joints.. and now
straight across my back.

Had a good time eating my way through Thanksgiving weekend and heading off

.. just been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.  Went to the docs with
ever increasing pain all over my body, (symetrical), expected him to say it
was Osteo arthritis, just like my moms got, but after the blood tests come
back he says its Rheumatoid.  He didnt say much at all ...

Thanks all for your responses to my question.  Broadly, theres not much on
the sunny side of RA then.
One thing still puzzles me though. From what ive read, my immune system
thinks that my joints are attacking me, so is sending its forces to attack

An odd question I know, but is there anything at all good about having RA,
in that people with RA dont generally get ... (insert worse disease here).
One positive for me is that ive takenn up cycling for the first time in 30
years, and I feel GREAT!
