Stopping Kinneret while sick?26 Oct 2005 15:58 GMT3
Just got off the phone with my mom, who called to say she's been running a
fever for three days w/upper respiratory infection symptoms - and she *just*
called the dr's this morning! Of course, since it's before 9:00am in Denver,
she could only leave messages with the answering ...

Adelle, I think it was you who wrote about Alex whose face and legs were so
damaged.  Do you know how he is now?  I've been praying for him, along with
Jason Deal.

Hurricanes and Hospitalizations26 Oct 2005 04:17 GMT6
Mom went back into the hospital with a blood clot in her groin last
Wednesday. Her kidney function has decreased to 13% and she's sleeping
a lot. They put her on heparin and coumadin which in the past has
caused her to bleed so they've been watching her closely. And like

Well spent the morning kicking butt!  My General Practitioner and my
rheumatologist are royally ticked and both struggling to find a neurologist
that can get me in pdq and treat me.  They hoped to get me in today but
haven't had a call yet so hopefully tomorrow morning.  Thanks
Update on Donna G.26 Oct 2005 04:13 GMT7
I received an email from Donna's friend today.  Donna is out of the
critical care unit and is in a regular room now, although she'll
probably be in the hospital for a few more days.  She's in good
spirits.

Hey, Gang, I need some diagnostic help here.  I had been out of my Arthrotec
for nearly two weeks.  Some stiffness, lots of pain and a new symptom that's
driving me nuts!  My abdomen cramps...spasms...whatever, it hurts! and then
I get a gurgle like water cooler being emptied. ...
Prayers for Donna G.26 Oct 2005 01:31 GMT18
Donna was admitted to the hospital late last night.   She's in the
critical care unit to monitor her breathing.  I'm sure she'd
appreciate prayers and good thoughts.   I'll post if I hear anything
more.

Update on sister's tkr25 Oct 2005 14:34 GMT9
My sister Iris now has an infection. She had called on the weekend and
said there was some redness, and the area was feeling very hot. My
middle sister and I went over, had a look, and decided that she should
go to the ER. Fortunately her doc was on-call; he came and looked and

can rule the world, why can't he make a computer that keeps on ticking.

UPDATE: Abdominal Cramps24 Oct 2005 13:22 GMT3
For me the Arthrotec proved to be a miracle drug.  Within about 4 hours
after taking it, the spasms eased up and, although I gurgled a couple of
times the next day, I have had no further spasms and now the gurgling is
gone....as is my major stiffness and pain.  I love my Walter ...
