Dear friends,
Want to say thank you so very much for all of your prayers and healing
vibes for my cousin.   Unfortunately, she passed away about 5:00 a.m.
this morning.   They think the beginning chemo is what kind of threw her
As I sweat and sleep.......and blog15 Aug 2005 03:06 GMT4
Hello all.  As always lately, I start my posts with "it's been a while"
and end with "I miss you all".  So, I'm not going to do that.  :-)  (did
I just do that?)  What I do want to do is say thanks to all of you.
And, special thanks to Jo for the card she sent me.  Snail mail, ...
Is my hip pain due to arthritis?15 Aug 2005 01:25 GMT3
I am 49 years old and physically fit.  Never had any serious injuries
or pains.  11 days ago I woke up with a twinge in my right hip area.  2
days after the initial twinge, I got intense burning pain in my outer
thigh down to just above the knee that was unbearable when I walked.
Need some information14 Aug 2005 23:49 GMT1
Has anyone here had a swollen achilles tendon.  My doctor yesterday
called it a "pump bump".  He said that ice hockey players are inflicted
with this problem.  He put me in a stablizing boot and told me to take
one 200 mg Celebrex a day.  I haven't been able to walk like a normal

Ok, I have a friend who is a tennis official. It's often cool in the
morning and then gets hot during the day. What do you call those pants
that have a zipper or something and convert from long pants to shorts?
I was trying to explain there to her, but I couldn't remember what ...

Maybe i'm still in a bit of denial (less than a year since my OA dx) but i

Interesting thing happened with my arthritis14 Aug 2005 06:27 GMT6
Hi folks, I'm an osteo- sufferer and was just about to put away my guitar
for good about six months ago.  I don't know how much diabetes and
osteoarthritis are connected, but I had a miracle happen with me when I
started using a supplement for diabetics.  I have pre-diabetic ...

I was comparing notes with someone who is on MTX today and she asked me if I
