Hi---
Got my second week of Hylagen injections Friday. The new PA was on a
different schedule now.
This time I got a long-time PA that I have known over the years, so I asked

Went in for hip resurfacing on Tuesday 3rd May.  The operation happened
between 8:30 to 12:00 on Wednesday and I got out of hospital at 2:00 on
Friday the 6th.
I make that 50 hours between getting out of theatre and getting out of

Old Timer
The other day a young person  asked me how I felt about being old. I was
taken aback, for I do not think of myself as old. Upon seeing my reaction,
she was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an

As I posted at the EFA support forums...
Yesterday Rachel ran in a local kids race called the Awesome 3000. She was
last because of a stitch in her side, but she finished without whining and I
was so proud of her.
The letter has been sent11 May 2005 02:17 GMT5
I mailed it Thursday afternoon. Showed it to my friend
Judy that night and she found a spot where I had said
one foot in front of the other and misspelled one
leaving off the 'e'. So much for grammar check.
back and hip pain11 May 2005 02:13 GMT5
Have any of you had sciatica?
I have a case  of it now and cannot get rid of it. I am taking pain pills
and muscle relaxers, none of which seem to relieve it.  Its been 3 weeks and
it wont go away. I have had it before but it never lasted this long.
I found the only pothole in a parking lot11 May 2005 02:12 GMT12
I found it with my left foot. Went down like a ton of bricks. Got a
contusion on my right knee and have an ace bandage and air cast on my
sprained left ankle. Doc gave me samples of Celebrex and a script for
Vicodon as needed.
looking for a rheumatologist near Philadelphia, PA10 May 2005 13:01 GMT4
My sister asked me to help her find a good rheumatologist. She lives
near Philadelphia. She would prefer a doctor near her home in Plymouth
Meeting or near her work in Great Valley. She is not too far from the
main line. As a last result she might consider going into Philadelphia.
Hip replacement limitations09 May 2005 23:25 GMT8
I'm a candidate for left hip replacement, evidently I don't have much
cartilage left there (osteoarthritis).
But I am a fairly active person, and to tell the truth, my biggest fear
is the limitation of not being able to do all my yoga.
Painful Joint - please help?09 May 2005 20:05 GMT8
My wife (34 years old) has a very painful joint which she has now had for a
year. She has had blood tests, biopsy, ultra sound and x-rays but no
definite diagnosis here in London, UK. She is now in bad pain and is
desperate for a diagnosis so she can be put right. The dr's say ...
OTP: Points to Ponder09 May 2005 17:31 GMT6
Things to ponder
 1. If you plant some bird seed, will a bird come up?
 2. Photons have mass? Did anyone even know they were Catholic?
 3. It'd be nice to have a chance to prove money can't make one happy.
new email address.09 May 2005 17:28 GMT7
I have a new email address...actually I have several....but the one
you see here is my newest spam trap.  Feel free to use it,  but make
sure you put "ASA" in the subject line.  If I don't see that...chances
are it will end up in the junk folder and I'd hate for that to happen.
