Need advice re Black Eye.22 Apr 2005 19:46 GMT8
When I woke up yesterday post ear surgery I felt fine.  Even went and got an
x-ray on my hand and got my MTX labs done.
Came home and took a nap and work up with a puffy "black eye" in the surgery
side.  Really pretty much all the tissue around the eye red and puffy.  It

Since I'm still fairly new to all this and trying to educate myself I'm
getting it piece by piece. I understand about immunosupressants like
plaquenil and mtx and how they function and I'm sort of understanding
biologics (well, not really)such as enbrel and remicade but why do

i saw my rheumy today and told him that i'm seeing my GI doc tomorrow.
my GI doc handles my cardiac stuff (are you all following this??) and
he just did cholesterol tests etc on me and wants to discuss them with
me. so much for my morning cheese danish at starbucks!

I'm not sure about posting this.If I am in the right place or not.
I am 57 years old male,I had a Zimmer total knee replacement done on
March 7,2005.The recovery was going well,and had physical therapy at
the hospital,two days after surgery. Then I went home the fourth day.
