A week last Thursday, after a phone call from my medical centre, I went to see my doctor regarding the medication I was on for my osteoarthritis. I have OA in both feet, my right ankle, both knees, both shoulders and in most of my fingers.

I am 40, have Cerebral Palsy and I have arthritis in my back, wrists, and hands. I am on 800 mg Ibuprofen 2 x a day (once if I don't need a second dose). I have not yet been refered to a rheumatologist.

Has anyone on this NG any direct experience of using a magnetic bracelet for the treatment of OA/RA? With the changes to my medication, i.e. Co-prox no longer available, I am wondering if these things do have any effect. They're not cheap,

I've been taking one injection a week since November 1st of Humira. All of a sudden, my insurance co. will only let me have 6 packs every 75 days. They said that's all they can approve since I'm on methotrexate. Has anyone else heard of this? Is this a new criteria?Thnx

My RD came through for me. He had me sign some 'legalese' paperwork and I got my Bextra back! He upped the steroids and gave me something to sleep for the next few nights. He will be seeing me weekly for the next month....
