Wendy just called.  For once everything went according to plan.  The surgeon
said it went well and he used silk sutures for Walt.  Walt said he's already
feeling an improvement in his right hand.  We'll have to wait to see if the
occipital headaches are eliminated.

I was going to say I've fallen and I can't get up--but with my daughter's
help I did get up.  Putting chemicals in the pool, I stupidly slipped--and
in my struggles not to fall in the pool which I should have gracefully
done--I fell on the pool deck.  Nothing is broken, thank God ...

Watching CNN and they just announced that in the next
hour there will be a doctor on from Doctors without
Borders to speak. Also they just showed someone in

Geez I am in pain all over. Can artificial hips hurt??? My elbows, hips and

Well, so much for the good news about my arm surgery.  I'm now eating
those words.  My arm is killing me.  After getting the cast cut off
and a new longer and looser one, I'm still in pain.  And this pain is

Well I am still at home. Been feeling crappy with a major headache, but no
fever. As long as I can stand the headache and don't get a fever I can stay
home. Redrawing the labs tomorrow to see where we stand.
Haven't been on the computer cuz looking at the monitor makes my head hurt
