I woke up this morning to a cheerful voice telling me over the radio that it
was -33C (-47C with the wind chill).  Ugh.  Went out to start the truck, and
there is a heavy ice fog... both beautiful and spooky.
I am SO HAPPY it is cold.  I have to warm up the truck, so I while waiting ...

Well there is good news and bad news--I went to see my RD yesterday and he
said that my RA is doing fine--and my bloodwork is good--no more elevated
liver enzymes and anemia is stable--BUT I have what 75% of his patients who
lived through the hurricanes have--which is tendonitis ...

As many of you know, I facilitate a women's prayer group on Monday evenings.
It is an extraordinary group of women who's ages range from 16-82.  At least a
quarter of this group are not computer literate and don't even watch TV so tech
culture is completely alien to them.

name of a neurologist.  i just finished calling the neurologist's office my
chiro reccommended.  more good luck/news.  his receptionist said she just

I don't know why this year seems different, but it seems like more
people are stressed this year. I know that the holidays are often
difficult- but  why this year should be more so- is a mystery to me.

Saw my ortho doc this morning.  He looked me over and reviewed all my
films and MRI.
I do have OA in my spine top to bottom...but only moderately.  He says
it will get worse.

It was a very special night for me.  A couple days ago I received a
call at work from my best childhood friend.  We have not seen or
spoken to each other in 30+ years.  I called her tonight it was so
much fun reconnecting.  Wow just the best Christmas present I could
